Class of 2010 Inductee
On August 7, 2010, Phil Younger was inducted into the International Video Game Hall of Fame, in Ottumwa, Iowa, as a member of the IVGHOF’s inaugural class.
Though he is proud of this stellar status, he is equally as proud of the gaming accomplishments that brought him to the Hall of Fame.
For instance, the world record on arcade Berzerk (fast bullets) that he achieved at the E for All event in Los Angeles, In October, 2008. And the Berzerk title he won at Paul Dean’s Annual Classics Tournament, held at the 2007 California Extreme.
A native of Whittier, CA. Phil has played games since the 1980’s and hopes to someday break 1 million points on Berzerk. Outside of video games, he likes the Japanese game GO and enjoys pool, But, his biggest dream is to someday go to Nepal.
